University of Peshawar

The oral examination of three MPhil scholars was held at Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar. Miss Nadia Khan, Miss Iqra Saleem and Mr. Muhammad Zubair defended their theses. They worked under the supervision of Prof Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam, Prof Dr. Abdullah Khan and Prof Dr. Fazlur Rahim Marwat respectively. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa from FATA University and Dr. Manzur Afridi from International Islamic University were the external examiners.  



Director Pakistan Study Centre poke in a panel discussion on Kashmir. It was arranged by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women’s University Peshawar. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana presided over the event. Later on a solidarity walk was taken out wherein participants formed a human chain to express unity with Kashmiri freedom fighters. 


Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar observed Solidarity day with Kashmiris. The staff and students took out a rally led by Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam. In his speech, Dr Fakhar highlighted the just struggle of Kashmiri freedom fighters. He said that Pakistani nation and civilized world are supporting the struggle for self-determination. The students also formed a human chain and observed silence to pay homage to Kashmiri martyrs.
