HEC Approved Supervisor

Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam Director, Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar has been appointed as Higher Education Commission (HEC) Approved Supervisor. The Higher education Commission of Pakistan issued a notification to this effect on 29th April 2020. The Director attained the same status for a second term.

A Seminar was arranged by Hamdard Foundation at Green’s Hotel Peshawar Sadar. The theme of the seminar was “The Changing World and Our Education System”. Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam Speaker Hamdard Shura presided while Sadia Rashid daughter of Hakim Saeed attended as Guest of Honors. Dr. Abdul Qayum delivered a key note address. Members Hamdard Shura also took part in the discussion.


Renowned scholar and Chief of KP Soldier Board Col Dr. Hikmat Afridi donated 100 books to the library of Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar. While receiving the books, Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam Director Pakistan Study Centre expressed his gratitude to Dr. Afridi. He hoped that other donors will follow the suit.
