PhD Public Defense of Ms. Tabassum Mehboob was held at Pakistan Study Centre  University of Peshawar. The scholar defended her thesis titled "Pakistan Studies Curriculum from intermediate to master level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: An Analysis" that she wrote under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdullah Khan. The Vice Chancellor University had constituted an Examination Committee for the public defense which comprised of : 1. Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam, Director Pakistan Study Centre  University of Peshawar. 2. Prof Dr. Qadir Bakhsh Baloch Head Department of Management Studies Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and  3. Prof Dr. Hanif Khaill, Director National Institute of Pakistan Studies Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad. Prof Dr Arshad Ali, Director Institute of Education and research University of Peshawar attended the even on speacial invitation. Several other scholars, experts and students attended in person and online.





First ever webinar on "Foreign Policy' was held in Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar. Dr. Manzur Khan Afridi, Department of Politics and IR, international Islamic University, Islamabad was keynote speaker. He gave a background and historical perspective of Pakistan's foreign policy. He highlighed Pakistan's role in international organizations. Prof Dr Fakhr ul Islam Director Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar conducted and presided over the webinar.
