Seerat celebrations start at Pakistan Study Centre

A qirat and naat competition was held at Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar in connection with 10-day national seerat celebrations. Director Pakistan Study Centre Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam inaugurated the event. In his speech he said that recitation of the holy Quran and sending darood on the Prophet (SAW) are the greatest noble deeds in Islam. He stressed upon the youth to order their lives according to Quran and Sunnah. After that male and female students took part in the Qirat and naat competition. Ms. Anam Iqbal  and Mr. Umar Khiam stood first in the competition.
